Chris Ashworth records the Corvette Sebring Racer, the first Corvette entered in motorsports. The car finished first in B production and 9th overall at the 1956 Sebring 12 hour race. Having the largest engine in the field at 307 cid, this car was number 1. Its success led to the nickname of the Real McCoy.
