This is why I still Love the Corvette…
I own a Yellow 2007 6-speed Hollywod Top Corvette. Its been my dream car since I was ten. My Mother reciently passed away in 1/2011 and left me some money that enabled me to get it. I was her fulltime care giver the last 3 yrs. of her life and we had many talks before she passed and she said to me….Ronny I know taking care of me has been difficult so please when I go do something special for yourself. Mom passed 1/29/11 and her birthday was 4/18/53 so my son and I were going to here favorite restaurant to honor what would have been her 58th B-day on 4/18 after she passed. On the way to the restaurant my son saw the yellow beast sitting in a parking lot with a for sale sign in the window. Tyler said Dad look at that Vette. Can we look at it and I said sure but lets go eat first and we will stop on the way back. Well the rest is history and I bought my first Vette and stil own it now. It only has 49k miles on it and I baby it.
Now to the 2014 beauty that Chevrolet has created. Well in just one word….its SICK!! Now I mean that in a good way! Beautiful car. Now I love the front alot, but not as big of a fan of the rear. Corvette has always had its “OWN” tail lights and now it really looks like the Camaro tail lights. I will continue to study the reports and videos that come out on the 2014. To be continued….. Over all though I love it!!
